Our School

Headteacher Message

St. Clement’s is a Catholic primary school and I am proud of our caring, Christian ethos where everyone is valued. I want to work together with parents, to give our children the best possible education and our door is always open. Our children are wonderful and their outstanding personal development and behaviour is a credit to the work of staff and parents each day. I want them to grow into confident, independent young people, with attitudes (e.g. working hard) and values (e.g. respect) that prepare them for future education and life today. Our vision is to provide the highest standards of teaching, learning, care and personal development for every single child. We have very high expectations and standards and a strong record of excellent results, from Reception class right through to Year 6. Our learning motto is ‘Excellence in Everything’ and we try to achieve this every single day.

Mission Statement

Through the love of God and the person of Jesus, our aim is to develop the wholeness of everyone, striving for excellence in all that we do.

We seek to be a welcoming and caring Catholic community, respecting and accepting each other, as we journey together in love and faith.

Admissions

The Governing Body is the Admissions Authority and responsible for all decisions on admissions. Our normal admissions number is 30 and new Reception applications are co-ordinated by the LA. In-year applications should be made directly to the school. For more information, applying for a place or our over-subscription criteria, see the Admissions Policy.
