Dear Parents and Carers,
A very warm welcome to the Year 5 class page! We’re excited to begin an exciting new half term filled with fun and engaging learning opportunities.
This half term, in Maths, we’ll be helping the children develop a strong understanding of fractions, exploring how they work and how they can be used in everyday life. In Science, we’ll be learning about Animals, including Humans, finding out about different animal groups, life cycles, and how our bodies help us grow and stay healthy. Meanwhile, in History, we’ll be travelling back in time to explore the Maya civilisation, discovering who they were, how they lived, and the fascinating achievements they are still remembered for today.
Please note that PE lessons will take place every Wednesday and Thursday, so children should come to school in their PE kit on both days.
Mrs Logan, Mrs Lawrence-Rimmer and I, are all passionate and driven to ensure your children have all the support that they will need on their next steps through St. Clement's.
