Together in Love and Faith

As a Catholic school, we are built on our faith which holds Christ at the centre. Our Catholic Life is the golden thread that weaves through every aspect of our school. It is impossible for any policy or procedure to 'summarise' what our Catholic Life is all about. However, you can see and experience what our Catholic Life means through looking at our website, but better still, come and visit us at St Clement's.

All staff, led by the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher/R.E Subject leader and Governors are aware that the school's foundations are built on the Catholic faith and beliefs and that it is our shared responsibility to transmit the Catholic faith to the children in our care. All staff receive regular training as part of their continuous professional development through the Diocese and R.E Subject Leader. Staff pray and work together to support each other in providing the very best Religious Education for our children; striving to ensure that every child fulfils their God-given potential.

Through prayer, both traditional and informal, through liturgies and Religious Education lessons, where children receive direct teaching of the faith, through the relationships and support for each other that children, staff and parents enjoy within our school community, we enable children to come to know and love God.

Religious signs can be found throughout the school. Displays of work in R.E are of high quality and can be seen in classrooms. Each class has a prayer focus area, with a liturgical cloth in the appropriate colour.

In school we enjoy welcoming our stakeholders to various events including assemblies, Masses, fundraising events, worship and various other celebrations throughout the year.
